CLINIC FEES

Clinic Fees are posted on the ‘Book an Appointment’ page. Payment is due at time of service. We accept credit cards, debit cards, or checks.


CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be made during clinic office hours at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. Otherwise the patient is responsible for the full price of the service selected. Any person who arrives more than 15 minutes late will be also be charged for a missed appointment and will be requested to reschedule. Cancellation fees also apply to new patients for a first visit. Cancellations due to weather or medical emergencies are excused if you call prior to your appointment.

INSURANCE PAYMENT
Verify your acupuncture eligibility prior to your appointment. Imposed limitations may include the number of treatments, the types of conditions treated, or request for a referral from a medical doctor. Nicole McLaughlin Acupuncture is In-Network with:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP, Carefirst, Anthem

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

If you are Out-of-Network, please request a Superbill Receipt, which will be emailed on the date of service.

Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs such as Kaiser Permanente and certain Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO) do not pay for the services of an off-site licensed acupuncturist. Your insurance company does not pay the costs of Chinese herbs or essential oils.
